for Children and Families
The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health commissioned this
report, which provides an overview of the current system of care in California
for children with special health care needs and their families. The report
includes an overview of the health care system and related systems, including
publicly and privately funded services; analysis of the strengths and
gaps within the current service systems; and an assessment of the impact
on children and families. The report offers recommendations for addressing
some of the primary concerns in the current system of care.
