During the preteen years, ages 9 to 13, children experience numerous changes and transitions including the move from elementary to middle school. What can parents and teachers do to help preteens succeed in school with confidence and minimal stress?

Host Rona Renner, RN, and guest, Denise Pope, PhD, Founder and Director of SOS: Stressed Out Students at Stanford University and author of the book Doing School, will discuss the school challenges faced by preadolescent youth.
