The 10th annual An Evening with Children's Authors will be held the evening of Wed., Nov. 5th, 2008 at the Hiller Aviation Museum. Award winning authors and illustrators Anna Grossnickle Hines, Jeanne DuPrau and Thacher Hurd will give presentations about their work and be available for book signings and questions.
Although the books are geared towards children from birth to age twelve, this event is for adults only. All proceeds will benefit Family Connections, a tuition-free, parent participation preschool for low-income families where parents learn positive parenting skills while their children develop the skills necessary to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
