The Creative Arts Program is part of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in downtown San Jose. More than a third of the church's operating budget goes to the program. Roughly 50 preteens from the surrounding low-income neighborhood participate in the program's dance, music and drama classes, including Nohely Izquierdo, above.
