Children with Asthma in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties

In 2005, 12.3 percent of children ages 1-17 in San Mateo County were diagnosed with asthma, less than the statewide percentage of 16.1 percent. In the same year in Santa Clara County, 13.7 percent of children ages 1-17 were diagnosed with asthma.
