Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Disability Inclusion and Ableism Awareness

The Disability Inclusion and Ableism Awareness ERG was created to expand awareness of the experiences of people with disabilities and their families, deepening empathy and inclusion in our work and personal lives. We strive to ensure that people with disabilities, their loved ones, friends, and connections have access to the resources they need to participate fully in life. Informed by lived experiences and welcoming allies, we are committed to improving accessibility, reducing barriers, and advocating for equity and inclusivity. This work will enhance the culture of the Foundation for all staff and stakeholders.

Parent Partners

The Parent Partners ERG connects and supports our parenting community. We are partners in parenthood by providing a safe space in which to share the highs and lows of our experiences and by relying on each other as resources for many parenting needs.

Rainbow Connections

Rainbow Connections seeks to build and foster a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies at our Foundation. Together, we learn and promote awareness about the diversity and intersectional makeup of the LGBTQIA+ community. Rainbow Connections is committed to championing a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging that fully aligns with our Foundation’s mission, values, and goals.

Remote@LPFCH

Remote@LPFCH aims to build and foster an inclusive and supportive community for all employees, with a special focus on remote employees and employees working from home as part of a hybrid team.

Committees and Communities of Practice

Foundation committees and communities of practice serve as vibrant hubs for individuals to unite around shared interests, passions, or expertise in a specific area. Within these dynamic groups, collaboration thrives. Members continually learn from one another, tackle challenges together, and collectively elevate our knowledge and skills. Our current committees and communities of practice include:

Diversity, Equity,  Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council

The DEIB Council is committed to championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across our Foundation. Our aim is to support a diverse, well-represented workforce by deepening connections and creating room to learn, discuss, and celebrate everyone at the Foundation and in the Packard community. We aspire for shared ownership and accountability that is inclusive and fosters a sense of community in service to our mission.

Green Team

The Green Team is a friendly group of staff members who seek to reduce our environmental footprint and promote a healthy and sustainable work environment.

Spirit Squad

We’re serious about fun. The Spirit Squad brings our Foundation team together in a social environment where we can get to know one another—and, yes, there is always food!
