Prior to working at the Foundation, Amanda worked at the Legal Aid Association of California, managing and improving their online platforms to expand access to justice for low-income Californians. She has also worked abroad, at the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines, where she interviewed victims of torture and other human rights abuses, and at the Asia-Europe People’s Forum, organizing their yearly conference in Myanmar. Amanda graduated from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where she earned an MA in International Human Rights, and a dual-degree BA in Political Science and German from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
