Innovators in General Pediatrics Award Program at Stanford

To solicit and support three project proposals that engage outpatient or community-based care systems in efforts to improve child health and well-being, with a particular focus on improving care for children with or at risk for chronic physical, developmental or behavioral conditions and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally.

Three new awards from the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health will support research on outpatient and community-based approaches to improving the health and well-being of children, particularly those with complex medical needs. The work, funded by the Foundation’s newly established General Pediatric Innovator Awards, will be led by members of the Division of General Pediatrics at Stanford University.
