Purpose
The Children’s Partnership (TCP) has served as a long-term intermediary between state policymakers and community-based organizations and child health advocates across the state. This grant, focusing on the Public Health Emergency Unwinding, is divided into two components. In partnership with the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), they will provide logistical support for a virtual stakeholder forum and bring in key stakeholders to elevate families’ experiences with the PHE unwinding. Additionally, TCP will disseminate and translate materials on the renewals process to advocates and families in a Medi-Cal continuous coverage campaign. By leveraging their relationships with the state and community, TCP will increase family awareness around the unwinding timeline which will result in less breaks in coverage for children.
