California Advocacy Network for CSHCN: 2012 Survey Findings
The health care delivery system in California is challenging for families of children with special health care needs. The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health sponsored a survey to identify key issues that the Foundation should address, notably care coordination, family-centered care and finance reform. Survey respondents also ranked specific activities to undertake, including dissemination of best practice information and sponsorship of regional meetings to tackle local problems.
The California Advocacy Network for Children with Special Health Care Needs was a Foundation sponsored group with the goal of improving programs and policies that could better support families.
