These case studies demonstrate how three organizations used the Family Engagement in Systems Assessment Tools (FESAT) to support their work. The FESAT is a suite of resources on planning, assessing, and improving family engagement in policy, practice, Quality Improvement projects, and other systems-level activities. The featured state entities include a family-led coalition in Massachusetts working to address needed family supports during the COVID-19 pandemic, an Alabama Title V program implementing a quality improvement initiative to improve services for target populations, a team of stakeholders in Minnesota aiming to understand and improve family engagement over time as part of a Maternal and Child Health Bureau-funded innovation project.
